Studies in Job

A 13-lesson teacher’s guide by Ann Gardner for teaching children about death and the problem of human suffering based on the Old Testament book of Job.

Ann Gardner has prepared a 13-week study for children on the problem of human suffering and death. The role of God in human trial and death has been largely ignored in Bible school training. However, death and tragedy are around us every day and many times children have to face them unprepared. Terrorism and major natural disasters of recent years point out the need to teach children about these issues. Ann Gardner wrote a related 16-page children’s book entitled Climbing Higher which we also include with the teacher’s guide. This teacher’s guide has 65 pages with more ideas than you will have time to use. We encourage you to use it.
